MILWAUKEE — 414 is proud to announce a joint collaboration with the Milwaukee Simba SC, a nonprofit, city based soccer club, that works in Milwaukee’s central city, focusing on the development of young athletes as good citizens and excellent soccer players by way of coaching and mentorship. The Simba goal is to make soccer about people coming together on and off the field and providing consistent and equal playing opportunities for a low or at no cost. "We are honored to collaborate with the 414 brand to help our kids in the community with the opportunity to play soccer and strive, not only on but, off the field as well." -Demitrius White, President of Milwaukee Simba SC. 

 

"I met Demitrius two years ago at the Nacional Fanzone (a pop up, World Cup event hosted by the Nomad World Pub) — and we hit it off, " says Fred Gillich of 414 Milwaukee. "One day we're gonna do something together and I'm gonna work for your kids," says Gillich. "And today is that day."

Gillich has been a Milwaukee soccer advocate for nearly 20 years. Having marketed the UWM Men's Soccer program in the early 2000s to developing the Milwaukee Barons soccer supporters group in 2014 and partnering with the Milwaukee Torrent, Gillich and the 414 brand are honored to produce high quality apparel for the Simbas with proceeds benefiting the non-profit group. The Simbas represent a high standard of excellence and equality for Milwaukee's boys and girls, and the 414 brand is happy to be at the service of Milwaukee 's next generation of players.
